Girls Inc. is signing onto a national pledge against sexual violence and harassment as the nonprofit expands its energies toward campaigning for girls and women on a variety of fronts.
“We’re making the switch from just services to also advocacy,” Kim Brown, Girls Inc.’s chief executive officer in Santa Fe. “We can serve lots and lots of girls, but we also want to have them leave us and be in a supportive community.”
