What is the Classic Cruise?
It is a fundraiser in honor of the 66th Anniversary of Girls Inc of Santa Fe. We are hosting a community-wide car cruise acknowledging Santa Fe’s historic Route 66 in support of Girls Inc.’s 66 years of service and the girls we serve.
How does this apply to Route 66?
The historic Route 66 briefly ran through Santa Fe! The car cruise will start at the Santa Fe Woman’s Club and go past 1950s mainstays like the El Rey Inn, to finally end at The Alley at the DeVargas Mall!
When is it happening?
The event is Friday, June 11 from 3 – 6 pm. The specific route will be distributed to participants at a later date.
What types of Vehicles are included?
We encourage classic cars/trucks, lowriders, unique vehicles, and those who just want to get out to support Girls Inc to join us. You can decorate your vehicle to join in the fun.
Is this a Race?
This is not a race. All vehicles are encouraged to cruise along the route together and will observe all traffic rules.
How do I get involved?
Go to girlsincofsantafe.org for more information to register. As this is a fundraiser, there is a registration fee of $25 per vehicle, which is a donation to Girls Inc. You will receive party favors/goodies for your participation.
