Adrienne A. Murray, Chief Storyteller
Adrienne Alexis Murray began working as Chief Storyteller for Girls Inc. of Santa Fe (*squeee her dream job*) in 2023. Born and raised by a village in Los Angeles, Adrienne moved to New Mexico in 2018 and has spent the past several years falling in love with its people, landscape, and traditions. Adrienne spearheads the important work of uplifting the stories and voices of the youth that Girls Inc. of Santa Fe serves. She is a proud alumna of the 2022 Cohort of Leadership Santa Fe and the 2020 cohort of the New Mexico Women of Color Nonprofit Leadership Initiative and her passions include providing mentorship and opportunity for young women of color through connection and the creation of beloved community. Adrienne has worked previously with the International Folk Art Market, Resilient New Mexico, and other institutions in Santa Fe. She enjoys baking, traveling, arts, crafting, reading, potting, and spending time exploring New Mexico with her partner Elias and their dogs Watson and scout, and two cats Luna and Zenon.
